 1   1, 1 |         Kshatras bowed to holy Brahmans, Vaisyas to the Kshatras
 2   1, 3 |   Vasishtha and to priests and Brahmans all:~"Priests and peers!
 3   1, 4 |        s answer heard,~And the Brahmans and preceptors joyously
 4   1, 7 |        devotion soft and fair,~Brahmans blessed the righteous Rama
 5   2, 1 |       loved their lord!~To the Brahmans pure and holy Rama due obeisance
 6   2, 2 |      the sky and solid ground!~Brahmans versed in laws of duty,
 7   2, 3 |   proud anointment Rama to the Brahmans said,~And the Brahmans spake
 8   2, 3 |     the Brahmans said,~And the Brahmans spake to burghers that the
 9  10, 12|     their fallen leader stood,~Brahmans with their chaunted mantras
10  11, 4 |       And our white-robed holy Brahmans hymn and sacred mantras
11  12, 1 |        and warlike chieftains, Brahmans versed in sacred lore,~Bharat
12  12, 1 |     Peaceful homes for learnéd Brahmans were with trees umbrageous
13  12, 1 |        Gifts they gave to holy Brahmans, shelter to the weak and
14  12, 3 | Heralds versed in old Puranas, Brahmans skilled in pious rite,~Minstrels
