1 1, 1| went the wise Vidura to his sacred duties bound,~Drona, blessed
2 1, 1| hamlet came to view the sacred rite.~Then arose white stately
3 1, 7| deathful war,~Brahmans chanted sacred mantra which the holy books
4 2, 2| distant regions with their sacred learning blest,~Drupad with
5 2, 2| festal day approacheth! Sacred censers fragrance lent,~
6 2, 4| valour, famed alike for sacred lore,~This is fair Kosala'
7 2, 7| rite of swayamtvra, so our sacred laws ordain,~Is for warlike
8 3, 2| preceptor Kripa, versed in sacred rites of old,~To Duryodhan
9 3, 2| wondrous on fair Jumna's sacred shore,~Tributes in a thousand
10 3, 3| abhisheka, proud anointment, sacred bath,~Crownéd kings and
11 3, 3| monarchs graced the inner sacred site!~Measureless their
12 3, 3| And on subjects great and sacred, oft divided in their thought,~
13 3, 3| concourse of the Brahmans unto sacred learning given,~Like the
14 3, 3| manners stained Yudhishthir's sacred rite!~Deva-rishi, saintly
15 3, 4| crowned monarchs doth our sacred law ordain,~Arghya to the
16 3, 7| more,~Leaves blue Jumna's sacred waters for his Dwarka's
17 4, 1| Duhsasan held the dame!~Sacred looks! with holy water dewed
18 4, 2| not with hands uncleanly, sacred is a woman's hair,~Honoured
19 4, 4| KINDNESS~Hark! within the sacred chamber, where the priests
20 4, 4| sacrificial fire,~And o'er sacred rights of homa Brahmans
21 4, 5| thou art a father, we thy sacred will obey,~Give us then
22 5, 2| diet as brahmahari many sacred rites performed,~Sang the
23 5, 2| rites performed,~Sang the sacred hymn, savitri, to the gods
24 5, 2| savitri smiled upon his sacred rite,~From the fire upon
25 5, 2| Ancient Sire,~True to virtue's sacred mandate speak thy inmost

56 12, 1| their hermitages to the sacred yajna came,~Rishis from
57 12, 3| lustre moved the priests with sacred awe,~Swerved not from the
58 12, 3| duty, failed not in the sacred law.~Done the rite of pure
59 12, 3| Soma-drinkers pressed the sacred Soma plant,~And performed
60 12, 3| the aswa-medha doth with sacred rites proceed,~Day by day
61 12, 3| penance stood around the sacred site,~Vyasa's great and
62 12, 4| sacrificial food,~Then before the sacred charger priests in rank
63 12, 4| wisdom keen!~Priests adept in sacred duty cooked the steed with
64 12, 4| fragrance sanctified the sacred site,~Good Yudhishthir and
65 12, 4| smoke!~Severed limbs and sacred fragments of the courser
