 1   1, 1|        his hall,~Bhishma and the pious Kripa with the lords and
 2   1, 3|         come, the gallant Arjun! pious prince and warrior skilled,~
 3   2, 1|        of fate.~They were met by pious Brahmans bound for South
 4   2, 1|   unknown home,~And disguised as pious Brahmans sons of Pandu begged
 5   2, 2|          pure and spotless name,~Pious to the mighty BRAHMA, and
 6   2, 3|      race,~Lights the Fire, with pious offerings seek its blessings
 7   3, 2|        of might,~Bhishma and the pious Drona watched the sacrificial
 8   3, 2|        chiefs and monarchs paid,~Pious Krishna unto Brahmans honour
 9   3, 6|        rage defied,~For unto his pious mother plighted word and
10   3, 6|     brothers then performed each pious rite,~Honours due to Chedi'
11   3, 7|       and resistless in the war,~Pious Krishna mounts the chariot,
12   5, 2|       and holy penance, and with pious rules conformed,~Spare in
13   5, 5|     heart with gladness and with pious purpose high,~I would bless
14   5, 5|           YAMA answered, "be thy pious wishes given,~And his eyes
15   5, 5|    sacred writ ordaineth and our pious rishis sing'~Transient meeting
16   5, 5|       said YAMA, "blesséd is thy pious thought,~With a higher purer
17   5, 5|       and purpose high,~What the pious mortal asketh gods in heaven

29  12, 3|          pure pravargya with the pious hymn and lay,~To the task
30  12, 4|       duty cooked the steed with pious rite,~And the steam of welcome
31  12, 4|      upon the blazing altar as a pious offering placed,~Vyasa herald
32  12, 5| gladdened all the priestly band,~Pious priests and grateful nations
