1 2, 8| spake in words of righteous peace,~Monarchs bowed to Krishna'
2 4, 5| filled with deeper, holier peace,~Bowed to Bhishma and to
3 5 | return to his kingdom in peace. This act of generosity
4 7, 1| in him prove,~Thoughts of peace and not of anger still the
5 7, 1| peaceful thought,~For in peace and not by bloodshed still
6 7, 4| message and request!~Meanwhile peace and offered friendship we
7 7, 4| he renders Indra-prastha, peace will crown the happy land,~
8 7, 4| Brahmans sent with messages of peace,~Vainly urged the Kuru elders
9 7, 4| Krishna went to sue for peace,~Raised his voice against
10 7, 5| death of kinsmen, word of peace and love I bring!~'Midst
11 7, 5| truth and holy grace,~Man of peace! avert the slaughter and
12 7, 5| Yudhishthir, rule in unmolested peace,~Pandu's sons are strong
13 7, 5| hall,~Krishna pleads for peace and virtue, blessings unto
14 7, 5| ancient throne,~Cherish peace and cherish virtue, for
15 7, 6| Krishna counsels love and holy peace,~Listen, youth, and may
16 7, 7| wisdom are these chiefs in peace or strife,~Truest friends
17 7, 7| kinsmen fasten in the bonds of peace,~May the empire of the Kurus
18 7, 9| repentance may be vain.~Peace is righteous Krishna's counsel
19 7, 9| counsel and he comes to offer peace,~Take the offered boon,
20 10, 2| three Yudhishthir joy nor peace nor rest hath seen,~And
21 10, 3| still he seeks for rightful peace,~Render back his ancient
22 10, 3| Heaven!~And the hour for peace is over, for our best sleep
23 11, 5| sad eyes had never seen,~Peace had graced our blessed empire,
24 12, 5| sorrow, faithful still in peace or war,~Arjun's comrade.
