 1   5, 4|    pea-fowls gorgeous plumaged flew before her wondering eye,~
 2   8, 1| chargers as the arméd horsemen flew,~Mingled with the rolling
 3   8, 1|        lances bright,~Horsemen flew as forkéd lightning, heroes
 4   8, 1|    still the glistening arrows flew,~Onward came the ancient
 5   8, 2|      ranks of serried warriors flew,~Scarcely in the thickening
 6   8, 7|    milk-white coursers, onward flew his sounding car,~And before
 7   8, 8|      his coursers uncontrolléd flew across the reddened plain,~
 8   8, 8|         and as onward still he flew,~Brothers of the proud Duryodhan
 9   9, 4|      coursers urged by Krishna flew with lightning's rapid course,~
10   9, 4|        from the dubious battle flew,~Came again the fiery Karna,
11   9, 5|  foeman then a garbled message flew:~"Aswa-thaman son of Drona
12  10, 2|      till his chariot bounding flew,~And with more than godlike
13  10, 3|       from the field of battle flew!~
14  10, 4|     and birds in consternation flew o'er land and azure sky,~
