 2 [Title]|         friars of the Order of the Friars Minor,~greetings and apostolic
 3 [Title]|        Lord begins the life of the Friars Minor.~The Rule and life
 4 [Title]|           The Rule and life of the Friars Minor is this, namely, to
 5 [Title]|        Roman Church; and the other friars are bound to obey Friar
 6 [Title]|          the permission to receive friars conceded. Let the ministers
 7 [Title]|     suffices for them.~And let the friars and their ministers beware,
 8 [Title]|          footwear. And let all the friars wear cheep clothing and
 9 [Title]|          of manifest necessity the friars are not bound to the corporal
10 [Title]|        counsel, warn and exhort my friars in the Lord Jesus Christ,
11 [Title]|           I firmly command all the friars, that in no manner are they
12 [Title]|          the clothing of the other friars, only the ministers and
13 [Title]|       manner of working.~Let those friars, to whom the Lord gives
14 [Title]|           themselves and for their friars what is for the necessity
15 [Title]|                           That the Friars are to appropriate nothing
16 [Title]|           begging of alms and sick friars.~Let the Friars appropriate
17 [Title]|           and sick friars.~Let the Friars appropriate nothing for
18 [Title]|      established you, my most dear Friars, as heirs and kings of the
19 [Title]|      totally to this, most beloved Friars, may you want to have nothing
20 [Title]|          Christ.~And, wherever the friars are and find themselves,
21 [Title]|          into infirmity, the other friars should care for him, as
22 [Title]|           penance to be imposed on Friars who are sinning.~If any
23 [Title]|         are sinning.~If any of the friars, at the instigation of the
24 [Title]|          has be ordained among the friars, that one have recourse
25 [Title]|    provincial alone, the aforesaid friars are bound to have recourse
26 [Title]|      Chapter at Pentecost.~All the friars are bound to have always
27 [Title]|          to have always one of the friars of this very same religion
28 [Title]|          and common utility of the friars, the aforesaid friars, to
29 [Title]|          the friars, the aforesaid friars, to whom the electing has
30 [Title]|            same year to call their friars together in chapter in their
31 [Title]|               On preachers.~Le the friars not preach in the diocese
32 [Title]|         warn and exhort these same friars, that in preaching, that
33 [Title]|   admonition and correction of the friars.~Let the friars, who are
34 [Title]|  correction of the friars.~Let the friars, who are ministers and servants
35 [Title]|          and servants of the other friars, visit and warn their friars
36 [Title]|       friars, visit and warn their friars and humbly and charitably
37 [Title]|           our Rule. Indeed let the friars, who are subjects, remember,
38 [Title]|         our Rule. And wherever the friars are, who know and understand,
39 [Title]|            the servants of all the friars.~Indeed I warn and exhort
40 [Title]|       Indeed I warn and exhort the friars in the Lord Jesus Christ,
41 [Title]| monasteries of nuns, except those [friars] to whom special permission
42 [Title]|          on this account among the friars nor concerning them.~
