 1 2 |            question, so that there may arise in this world beings
 2 4 |           and a master of the Law, may I deliver mankind from old
 3 4 |         quickly show my happiness. May Buddha there teach me the
 4 4 |        always proclaim my thought! May I, gone to Aviki hell, always
 5 4 |         the power of prayer! [i.e. May I remain in hell, if I cease
 6 5 |         highest perfect knowledge. May therefore the Bhagavat,
 7 5 |           teach me the Law, that I may quickly know the highest
 8 5 |         highest perfect knowledge. May I become in the world a
 9 5 |       equal to the unequalled. And may the Bhagavat proclaim those
10 5 |    proclaim those signs by which I may comprehend the perfection
11 5 |             after hearing which we may fulfil every one of their
12 7 |          Bodhisattvas, hearing it, may comprehend the different
13 7 |        that time to the Bhagavat: "May the Bhagavat thus listen
14 8 |           the body of Asuras, then may I not obtain the highest
15 8 |           the body of Asuras, then may I not obtain the highest
16 8 |         viz. a golden colour, then may I not obtain the hignest

22 8 |          of Buddha countries, then may I not obtaii,. the highest
23 8 |            to their own body, then may I not obtain the highest
24 8 |      reached Mahaparinirvana, then may I not obtain the highest
25 8 |           of kotis of kalpas, then may I not obtain the highest
26 8 |          of Buddha countries, then may I not obtain the highest

62 9 |          endless Buddha countries, may I not be a lord of the world,
63 9 |    incomparable and blessed Bodhi, may I not be a teacher in the
64 9 |            knowledge in the world, may I also be worthy of equal
65 9 |       after I have obtained Bodhi, may this sphere of a thousand
66 9 |       thousand worlds tremble, and may a shower of flowers descend
67 21|          pleasant to touch, if one may use a comparison, like Kakilindika (
68 27|        should wish -What?-How then may I see that Tathagata Amitabha
69 31|            wish before that lord: "May our country also be such
70 32|       beings whatever their wishes may be.~'And again, O Ananda,
71 43|         namely, in order that they may see the Buddha country of
72 43|           that the laws of Buddhas may not perish or disappear.
