 2 2 |        difficult to be obtained in this world, O Ananda. As the appearance
 3 2 |        difficult to be obtained in this world; thus, O Ananda, the appearance
 4 2 |                 there may arise in this world beings who can be teachers
 5 2 |              can be teachers of all the world, for the sake of noble-minded
 6 3 |              moment, there arose in the world a holy and fully enlightened
 7 3 |      enlightened Tathagata arose in the world, Lokesvararaga by name,
 8 3 |          conduct, a Sugata, knowing the world, without a superior, charioteer
 9 4 |                bright here in the whole world. (1)~"The form also is infinite
10 4 |                 there is no one in this world. (2)~"The Law (dharma) is
11 4 |            Bodhi-tree excellent in this world. There is incomparable happiness
12 5 |          knowledge. May I become in the world a Tathagata, equal to the
13 6 |               ten quarters of the whole world, more excellent, and more
14 8 |               May we, remaining in this world, honour revere, esteem,
15 8 |        Bodhisattvas, be honoured by the world and by the gods, then may
16 9 |              may I not be a lord of the world, endowed with power.~4. "
17 9 |                 not be a teacher in the world, endowed with power.~5. "
18 9 |               kinds of knowledge in the world, may I also be worthy of
19 9 |                 wilt be a Buddha in the world."~
20 10|               Tathagata, and before the world including gods, Mara, and
21 11|             country, distant fr-om this world by a hundred thousand niyutas
22 11|                Buddha countries, in the world which is called Sukhavati,
23 12|            prayers, have lighted up the world by their own light, which
24 13|              there are in the universal world. Then, let there be a hundred
25 14|              kalpas exists here in this world, ten kalpas have passed
26 15|                 15. 'And, O Ananda, the world called Sukhavati belonging
27 15|                 Then, O Ananda, in that world there are neither hells,
28 15|             there do not appear in this world such gems as are known in
29 15|                gems as are known in the world Sukhavati.~
30 16|                16. 'Now, O Ananda, that world Sukhavati is fragrant with
31 16|              Law to beings in the whole world.~
32 17|                their place, who in this world dwell above the king of
33 18|                            18. 'In that world Sukhavati, O Ananda, there
34 18|               nowhere in that Sukhavati world any sound of sin, obstacle,
35 18|             that reason, O Ananda, that world is called Sukhavati, shortly,

37 19|                and will be born in that world Sukhavati, will be endowed
38 19|                again, O Ananda, in that world Sukhavati, beings do not
39 20|                        20. 'And in that world, there is no difference

41 21|                again, O Ananda, in that world Sukhavati, when the time

51 34|       Bodhisattvas, by whose light that world is everywhere shining with
52 36|               of blessed Buddhas in the world, as for instance, that of
53 37|               morning meal to the other world, worship many hundred thousand
54 37|              Buddhas, turn again to the world Sukhavati in one morning,
55 38|              who have been born in that world Sukhavati, there is no idea
56 38|                stories transcending the world. They are clever in examining
57 38|              being tainted by the whole world, they are like lotuses;
58 38|              obliging, enlightening the world, free from sorrow, free
59 38|              Gina-power, learned in the world, elevated by their purified
60 39|              every quarter of the whole world with its ten quarters, the
61 39|          Sravakas, gods and men in that world Sukhavati, saw this world
62 39|               world Sukhavati, saw this world Saha and Sakyamuni, the
63 40| Paranirtnitavasavartins, and men in the world Sukhavati?'~Agita said: '
64 40|               so far as the men in that world of Sukhavati are endowed
