28. Having declared the glory of the Law of Buddha, he built a round Stupa and gave a royal coronation to Saunu, sending him into the wood pre-eminent with the holiest saints and Kaityas, and bidding him worship the sacred relics; and having commanded Rahula, Gautami, and the other women led by Gopika, with staves in their hands, as shaven ascetics, to practise the vow of fasting called ahoratra, and after that the Lakshakaitya ceremony and then the rite called Sringabheri, and that called Vasumdhariki.
