 5    4,   5    |   prodigal son.62 Although the word "mercy" does not appear,
 6    5,   7    |        in a sense is the final word of His messianic message
 7    5,   7    |        yet this is not yet the word of the God of the covenant:
 8    5,   8    |      the crucified one, is the Word that does not pass away,92
 9    5,   8    |       time "shows mercy"? In a word, is not this the position
10    7,  13    |     constant meditation on the Word of God, and above all conscious
11    7,  13    |        Christ, not only by the word of her teaching but above
12    8,  15    |        the very meaning of the word "mercy," moves away from
13    8,  15    |       the courage to utter the word "mercy," or if in his conscience
14    8,  15    |        the Church to utter his word, not only in her own name
