 2 1 |  APPEALED TO THAN CUSTOM, AND TRUTH PROGRESSIVE IN ITS DEVELOPMENTS.~
 3 1 |      observance is exacted by truth, on which no one can impose
 4 1 |   maintained in opposition to truth. But our Lord Christ has
 5 1 |   Christ has surnamed Himself Truth, not Custom. If Christ is
 6 1 |     and prior to all, equally truth is a thing sempiternal and
 7 1 |     is not so much novelty as truth which convicts heresies.
 8 1 |      savours of opposition to truth, this will be heresy, even (
 9 1 |     them: when that Spirit of truth shall have come, He will
10 1 |     will conduct you into all truth, and will report to you
11 1 |     who have received Him set truth before custom. They who
12 2 |       attribute this usage to Truth. Be it, for a while, custom:
13 3 | RESULTS. PASSIONATE APPEAL TO TRUTH.~But not even between customs
14 3 |      enforced nor prohibited. Truth had been content to make
15 3 |     change! Arise, therefore, Truth; arise, and as it were burst
16 4 |   Scriptures in opposition to truth, there is immediately urged
17 6 |  between "in some sense" and "truth" there is difference enough,
18 16|       in order to exhibit the truth to God alone. And yet you
