 1 1intro|            is the not regretting a thing which has been taken away,

 3 2     |            of course, He nilled (a thing) to be done when He made
 4 2     |          Therefore, since the only thing which is in our power is
 5 3     |          which, while it makes the thing "better," so compels it
 6 4     |            too, while he wills one thing, gives no spontaneous or
 7 8     |         some not (absolutely) good thing were subject (So our choice),
 8 9     |          through the nature of the thing itself. Besides, what is
 9 9     |       itself. Besides, what is the thing which takes place in all
10 9     | fornication. Accordingly, the best thing for a man is not to touch
11 13    |        inasmuch as it is a greater thing to live in chastity than
12 13    |           begin to cease from that thing from which Paradise is intact.~
