Chapter

 1 II  |     the devil should not have power granted him sufficient to
 2 II  |     from whom He receives all power in heaven and on earth,
 3 II  |    assailing of it in his own power! But in the prayer prescribed
 4 II  |     are we delivered from the power of the devil, when we are
 5 II  |       devil's legion have had power over the herd of swine unless
 6 II  |      far are they from having power over the sheep of God. I
 7 II  |     their being approved, the power of trial is granted to him,
 8 II  |  devil receives more suitably power even from the servants of
 9 IV  |      the nature of things his power of apprehension. For every
10 IV  |     lays it on the perceptive power to perceive it just as it
11 V   | either both things in our own power, or they wholly lie with
12 V   |     recognising His might and power in that, just as He can
13 V   |    dishonour by despairing of power at His hands to shield you
14 VIII|   convinced that they have no power at all of themselves without
15 X   |       since you have received power also over evil spirits;
