 8 XII |      the other is a service to dead men. Moreover, demons have
 9 XII |     abode in the images of the dead. To refer also to the matter
10 XII |     passed from honours of the dead to honours of the living,
11 XIII| consecrated images, whether of dead men or (as they think) of
12 XIII|       common source--for their dead and their deities are one--
