 1 2|            him who contends that the Sabbath is still to be observed
 2 2|               righteous men kept the Sabbath, or practised circumcision,
 3 2|               and inobservant of the Sabbath, consequently his offspring
 4 2| uncircumcised and inobservant of the Sabbath, was by Him commended; while
 5 2|              and in-observant of the Sabbath, He translated from this
 6 2| uncircumcised and inobservant of the Sabbath, was chosen to the priesthood
 7 3|           nor yet did he observe the Sabbath. For he had "accepted" circumcision;
 8 4|             OF THE OBSERVANCE OF THE SABBATH.~It follows, accordingly,
 9 4|           also the observance of the Sabbath is demonstrated to have
10 4|              more ought to observe a sabbath from all "servile work"
11 4|            the question for us, what sabbath God willed us to keep? For
12 4|            the Scriptures point to a sabbath eternal and a sabbath temporal.
13 4|              a sabbath eternal and a sabbath temporal. For Isaiah the
14 4|            discern that the temporal sabbath is human, and the eternal
15 4|            is human, and the eternal sabbath is accounted divine; concerning
16 4|               and day after day, and sabbath after sabbath; and all flesh
17 4|         after day, and sabbath after sabbath; and all flesh shall come
18 4|      therefore, before this temporal sabbath, there was withal an eternal
19 4|          there was withal an eternal sabbath foreshown and foretold;
20 4|               that Adam observed the sabbath; or that Abel, when offering
21 4|          religious reverence for the sabbath; or that Enoch, when translated,
22 4|             had been a keeper of the sabbath; or that Noah the ark-builder
23 4|            of the deluge, an immense sabbath; or that Abraham, in observance
24 4|        Abraham, in observance of the sabbath, offered Isaac his son;
25 4|              received the law of the sabbath. But the Jews are sure to
26 6|          since it is manifest that a sabbath temporal was shown, and
27 6|            temporal was shown, and a sabbath eternal foretold; a circumcision
28 6|              observer of the eternal sabbath, to suppress the old law,
29 6|   circumcision together with its own sabbath, and announce the new kingdom
30 6|            observer of the spiritual sabbath, priest of the eternal sacrifices,
