 1 3     |        are announced: just as Isaiah foretold, saying that in

 9 9     |       firstly, the name which Isaiah foretold, and (secondly)
10 9     | announced of Him. Well, then, Isaiah foretells that it behoves
11 9     |   called His own sons through Isaiah the prophet: "I have generated
12 9     |      not predicted as such by Isaiah. "But if the Christ," say
13 9     |       a preacher; as, through Isaiah: "Cry out," he says, "in
14 10    |      tree." Similarly, again, Isaiah says: "For a child is born
15 10    |     show, in one utterance of Isaiah, His death, and passion,
16 12    |    gospel; as He says through Isaiah: "Behold, I have given Thee
17 13    |    Divine Spirit, the prophet Isaiah had said, saying:~"Behold,
18 13    |    according to the saying of Isaiah, "a man cast forth his abominations
19 13    |    who, withal, again through Isaiah prays for their utter burning. "
