 13    III, 5     |     water-bailiff or a farmer when He says, "I will open rivers in

 30    III, 14    |     accordingly. "Gird on Thy sword," says David, "upon Thy thigh."

 32    III, 14    |            earth. For this is what He says: "Ride on prosperously in
 33    III, 14    |       resurrection. "Thy right hand," says He, "shall wonderfully lead
 34    III, 15    |            even to idols. The apostle says: "For there be that are
 35    III, 17    |      announced (His way) before Him," says he; "He is like a servant,
 36    III, 17    |              who is there among you," says he, "that feareth the Lord,
 37    III, 17    |          likewise as a healer: "For," says he, "He hath taken away
 38    III, 18    |         pronounced a curse. "Cursed," says He, "is every one who hangeth
 39    III, 19    |           cross? Likewise Isaiah also says: "For unto us a child is
 40    III, 19    |            His glory. "They pierced," says He, "my hands and my feet,"
 41    III, 19    |        implores His Father's help, He says, "Save me from the lion'
 42    III, 19    |               sentence of Isaiah, who says, "His sepulture was removed
 43    III, 20    |               His gospel. So again He says by Isaiah: "I have given

 45    III, 20    |                 which shall proceed," says he, "out of thy bowels."

 58     IV, 1     |      concerning which the same Isaiah says, "For the Lord will make

 64     IV, 7     |               His ministry? As Isaiah says: "Drink in this first, and
