 1 8 |          again to its own especial suffering. Virginity, likewise, and
 2 17|         soul would be incapable of suffering pain or pleasure, as being
 3 17|        endowed with the faculty of suffering and sense, so as not to
 4 17|            likewise a capacity for suffering. But the truth is, in respect
 5 17| conjunction of the flesh to endure suffering, in order that by its aid
 6 40|   recompense which is promised for suffering with Christ. Accordingly,
 7 40|           it is not exposed to its suffering without the inward man.
 8 41|      undergoes dissolution through suffering, a better house through
 9 57|          far indeed susceptible of suffering, as it is the flesh, and
10 57|         longer capable of enduring suffering.~
