 1 2 |         have been called by the name of Jesus Christ; we believe
 2 2 |         are reckoned, under the name of the Father, and of the
 3 6 |        the Scriptures under the name of Sofia, Wisdom; for what
 4 6 |       be better entitled to the name of Wisdom than the Reason
 5 7 |        out all thinks under the name of Wisdom "The Lord created
 6 7 |       His own person, under the name of Wisdom: "The Lord formed
 7 7 |       place described under the name of Wisdom, and in another
 8 7 |      who is spoken of under the name both of Wisdom and of Reason,
 9 7 |       Thou shalt not take God's name in vain." This for certain
10 7 |      Person, I claim for it the name of Son; and while I recognize
11 8 |        peculiar designation the name of Son. But still the tree
12 13|         I find in Scripture the name LORD also applied to them

30 27|         say, the Spirit, whose "name should be called Emmanuel
31 28|        the actual force of this name, if indeed Christ is a name,
32 28|     name, if indeed Christ is a name, and not rather a surname,
33 28|    Anointed is no more a proper name than Clothed or Shod; it
34 28|       is only an accessory to a name. Suppose now that by some
35 28|    exhorts us to believe in the name of His (the Father's,) Son
36 28|         Son of God, does either name alone without the other
37 28| Consequently, whether it be the name Jesus which occurs alone,
38 28|         Anointed One; or if the name Christ is the only one given,
39 28|         to perceive that by the name of Christ some other God
40 28|     ascribes to the Father this name of Christ! For if Christ
