 1 1 |          with Luke! Why heed their words? In spite of them, I declare
 2 4 |            following of course the words of the Psalm: "Sit Thou
 3 11|           on my part I produce the words of God Himself, "My heart
 4 11|      believed, if He had m so many words declared Himself to be both
 5 11|       footstool. " Likewise in the words of Isaiah: "Thus saith the
 6 13|         are, that you do not think words ought to be taken and understood
 7 14|           me, and live: " in other words, he who sees me shall die.
 8 18|   separated Him, saying in so many words: "Beside me there is none
 9 18|         fabricate idols with their words, just as the heathen do
10 19|        foolish, and confirming the words of His Son?" as, for instance,
11 21|            made." Now, since these words may not be taken otherwise
12 21|         and I" these are the Son's words. And it was on this very
13 21|            you, He that heareth my words, and believeth on Him that
14 21|         shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life, and we
15 22|        sent mine own self: but His words are, "He hath sent me."
16 22|          not alone, and uses these words, "but I and the Father that
17 22|            known that the Father's words were uttered in the Son,
18 22|          me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth;" and again
19 22| opportunity afforded them in these words to propound their heresy
20 24|            works, and heard in His words, and recognised in the Son'
21 24|     administration of the Father's words and deeds. The Father indeed
22 24|            Son in the Father. "The words," says He, "which I speak
23 24|      indeed they were the Father's words; "but the Father that dwelleth
24 24|           mighty works, and by the words of His doctrine, that the
25 25|          it be not, to use its own words, "that ye might believe
26 27|         seed of David;" · in which words He will be Man and Son of
27 27|           to the Spirit;" in which words He will be God, and the
28 28|            the same effect are the words of Peter: "Let all the house
29 30|         who hears and receives the words of the new prophecy; and "
