Chapter

 1 2 |     substance, but in form; not in power, but in aspect; yet of one
 2 2 |          one condition, and of one power, inasmuch as He is one God,
 3 3 | instruments of His might, nay, His power itself and the entire system
 4 4 |         and as having received all power from the Father, how can
 5 6 |           TO THE DIVINE PLAN.~This power and disposition of the Divine
 6 7 |        that it is one and the same power which is in one place described
 7 10|          Himself, He had it in His power to do so; and since, if
 8 10|         since, if He had it in His power, He effected His purpose,
 9 10|        make good your proof of His power and His will (to do even
10 13|      reason of the sceptre's royal power. Accordingly, Isaiah also
11 16|            given by the Father all power in heaven and on earth." "
12 16|          For when He speaks of all power and all judgment, and says
13 17|     Almighty God, and has received power over all; is the Most High,
14 19|            Christ, "the Wisdom and Power of God," according to the
15 19|        Spirit." Now this Word, the Power of God and the Wisdom of
16 22|        that while they were of one power and essence, they should
17 23|      everywhere; but then it is by power and authority. We are also
18 23|            glorified by the divine power and word. "And God," says
19 26|            come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow
20 26|         Son of God is God, and the power of the highest is the Most
21 26|         Whole. Much more will "the power of the Highest" not be the
22 26|          the particular substance. Power is incidental to the Spirit,
23 26|          God, and the Word and the Power having been conferred on
24 26|      Himself by the Father. He has power to ask, if He will, legions
25 27|          of God is also called the power of the Highest, whom they
26 29|          only He bestows on us the power and capacity of suffering.~
