 1 1 |        the Gospels with a lie, saying in fact: "Away with Matthew;

 4 13|      Israel." For here too, by saying, "God is in Thee, and "Thou
 5 14|      see the face of the Lord, saying, "If therefore I have found
 6 14|     not a natural propriety in saying of some personage greater (
 7 15|    There is a certain emphatic saying by John: "No man hath seen
 8 15|       all question of time, by saying that God had never been
 9 15|   expressly called Christ God, saying: "Of whom are the fathers,
10 16|      dream, in mirror, in dark saying; ever from the beginning
11 18|      would have separated Him, saying in so many words: "Beside
12 22|     that I am He and that I am saying nothing of my own self;
13 22|       I know Him, and keep His saying." But when He goes on to
14 24|      the same with the Son, by saying, "He who seeth me seeth
15 24|       Son? And then, again, by saying, "Believest thou not that
16 26|      overshadow thee?" Now, by saying "the Spirit of God" (although
17 27| respecting His two substances, saying, "who was made of the seed
