 1 VIII|         maintaining the fight of confession in behalf of righteousness

12 X   |          question, and also made confession, will carry with him. But
13 X   |         which is the occasion of confession or denial. Why, then, do
14 X   |         a killing, and the first confession? And where will be the flesh
15 X   |       put the court before which confession should be made. Since confession
16 X   | confession should be made. Since confession is elicited by persecution,
17 X   |         and persecution ended in confession, there cannot but be at
18 X   |          torture rages here, and confession or denial completes this
19 X   |       the other things are here, confession also is not elsewhere; if
20 X   |        also is not elsewhere; if confession is elsewhere, the other
21 X   |  elsewhere; therefore neither is confession in heaven. Or, if they will
22 X   |         heavenly examination and confession take place is different,
23 X   |        proper to examination and confession on earth a course which
24 X   |         add after finishing with confession and denial? "Think not that
25 X   |      heaven, but to earth, makes confession also to be there, which
