 1 1|            who said that Herod was Christ. To those I betake myself
 2 1|         rest of him perishes; that Christ had not existed in a bodily
 3 1|           shedding of human blood. Christ, moreover, he affirms to
 4 2|            they prefer him even to Christ Himself; for it was he,
 5 2|          upon him obtained health. Christ Himself (they say further)
 6 2|           of things good and evil. Christ, moreover, existed not in
 7 2|           they say, observing that Christ wished to subvert the truth,
 8 2|          world were unwilling that Christ should suffer, lest through
 9 2|     salvation of mankind, betrayed Christ, in order that there might
10 2|        Virtues which were opposing Christ's passion; and thus, through
11 2|             through the passion of Christ, there might be no possibility
12 2|           occupy the whole orb. Of Christ, moreover, their sentiments
13 3|            the lower regions: that Christ was not born of the Virgin
14 3|       those angels; and sets forth Christ as born of the seed of Joseph,
15 4|         essence of floods and sea. Christ, moreover, was sent by that
16 5|        comprised; for this was why Christ said, "I am the Alpha and
17 5|          fact, they say that Jesus Christ descended, that is, that
18 5|          Creator; they affirm that Christ was not in the substance
19 6|            Creator; maintains that Christ who came was the Son of
20 6|            prophets he repudiates. Christ he neither, like Marcion,
21 7|          Montanus more things than Christ brought forward into (the
22 7|         add this, that they affirm Christ to be Himself Son and Father.~
23 8|            escheated if he recalls Christ to the Law? Add to these
24 8|        after being apprehended for Christ's Name, and apostatizing,
25 8|           not to blaspheme against Christ. For he introduced a doctrine
26 8|            by which to affirm that Christ was merely a human being,
27 8|          says that the human being Christ Himself was merely conceived
28 8| Melchizedek; because it is said of Christ, "Thou art a priest unto
29 8|         pre-eminent grace; in that Christ acts for human beings, being
30 8|            says, is he better than Christ, that he is apatôr (fatherless),
31 8| corroborate. He asserts that Jesus Christ is God the Father Almighty.
