Chapter

 1 V    |   bestowed, saying, "Prayer is good, with fasting and alms;
 2 V    |      the addition of deeds and good works. The angel reveals,
 3 VI   |         being greatly given to good works and to bestowing alms,
 4 IX   |      reduced to poverty; be of good courage in this respect,
 5 IX   |      merciful and those who do good works cannot want, but rather
 6 XI   |        that to one given up to good works--thinkest thou that
 7 XII  |     earthly lucre by provident good works, who might afterwards
 8 XIII |      if you were withheld from good works by fear and solicitude
 9 XIV  | deserving well of God, both by good works and character.~
10 XV   |       heavenly precepts, doing good even amidst the difficulties
11 XV   |        poor ought to labour in good works. And in order that
12 XVI  |      recall the Christian from good and righteous works, that
13 XVIII|      giving yourself freely to good works. And yet on this very
14 XX   |     alms; for thou layest up a good reward for thyself against
15 XX   |        into Gehenna. Alms is a good gift to all that give it,
16 XXIV |       let us labour in what is good unto all men, but especially
17 XXVI | distributing to our merits and good works the promised rewards,
