Chapter

 1 I    | wherewith the large and abundant mercy of God the Father and Christ
 2 I    |      resource, unless the divine mercy, coming once more in aid,
 3 I    |         out works of justice and mercy, so that by almsgiving we
 4 II   |           once again bestows the mercy of God. The Lord teaches
 5 III  |     wholesome gift of the divine mercy; and let us, who cannot
 6 III  |           how kind is the divine mercy, which, knowing that thereare
 7 IV   |       and everywhere to works of mercy; and in the strain and exhortation
 8 V    |         that with the deserts of mercy sins are cleansed. And in
 9 V    |       not be able to deserve the mercy of the Lord, who himself
10 VI   |     effectual were the merits of mercy, so much did righteous works
11 VIII |         considers God in showing mercy to the poor. For he labours
12 XVII |        is food thought of before mercy; so that while in a saving
13 XVII |    showing that according to His mercy He returns to each their
