Chapter

 1 II  |          fool to this world, that he may become wise. For the wisdom
 2 IV  |             long protracted mischief may at some time be changed,
 3 IV  |      contagion of errors and crimes, may even though late be converted
 4 IV  |            dieth, so much as that he may return and live." And again,"
 5 IV  |             long patience of God man may be benefited for life eternal.
 6 V   |                       V.~And that we may more fully understand, beloved
 7 V   |         which persecute you; that ye may be the children of your
 8 V   |              our virtues, that which may be placed on the level of
 9 VI  |        mortal, so that the guiltless may be put to death for the
10 VI  |             of the word and of grace may be satisfied with heavenly
11 VII |            the day, the sun, that he may not be compelled to look
12 VII |            full and perfect patience may be consummated.~
13 XI  |                      XI.~But that it may be more manifestly and fully
14 XII |              our helper and ally, we may bear all mischievous things!~
15 XIII|             of truth and liberty, we may attain to the truth and
16 XIII|              But that hope and faith may attain to their result,
17 XIII|        patience are needful, that we may fulfil that which we have
18 XIII|             we have begun to be, and may receive that which we believe

23 XIX |             what mischief impatience may cause. For as patience is
24 XX  |          Christ, that with Christ we may attain to God; which patience,
25 XX  |           directs our doing, that we may hold fast the way of Christ
26 XXI |           Gentiles, and heretics, we may patiently wait for the day
27 XXI | congregations of the nations, that I may take hold on the kings,
28 XXII|           the earth beneath, that He may separate His people. Gather
29 XXIV|             vengeance shall come, we may not be punished with the
30 XXIV|             impious and sinners, but may be honoured with the righteous
