Chapter

 1 XI|       and Joseph was sold, and king Saul persecuted the merciful
 2 XI|        the merciful David; and king Ahab endeavoured to oppress
 3 XI|  worship Him alone, saying: "O king Nebuchodonosor, there is
 4 XI|   deliver us from thy hands, O king. And if not, be it known
 5 XI|     faith did they afford! The king Antiochus, their enemy--
 6 XI|      and had more provoked the king with the constancy of his
 7 XI|     this present life; but the King of the world will raise
 8 XI|     answering, to restrain the king, with a heavenly voice exclaimed,
 9 XI|       foot the torments of the king, and his severe and various
10 XI|      divinity, foretold to the king the wrath of God, and the
11 XI| suffering persecution from the king, while he attributed to
12 XI|      the brethren, to whom the king promised riches, and power,
13 XI|        by the ministers of the king, that having received the
14 XI|      for the misguiding of the king, that he ate those things
15 XI|     pure, not to have regarded king Antiochus, but God the Judge,
