 1 1pref|           the conquering power of things evil is on the increase--
 2 1pref| characteristic of the last times--things good are now not allowed
 3 1pref|           not? It is our own good things whose position is now sinking;
 4 1pref|       when I became a man, those (things) which had been the child'
 5 6    |           your hand after the old things, not to look backwards:
 6 6    |           backwards: for "the old things are passed away," according
 7 6    |          and "forgetful of former things, we are reaching forward,"
 8 6    |         looking back at the lower things, and checking its itching
 9 8    |        with the present (state of things), to wander out of the path

20 15   |           but renounce the secret things of disgrace," who has just

22 16   |      level with himself. But when things lawful are (only) granted
23 16   |          indulgence, who hope for things unlawful? "To the unmarried"
