Chapter

 1 39|  placed us in this abode of flesh: it was He who gave us the
 2 43|    world; afterwards in the flesh of man, in the reign of
 3 43|    to the sufferings of the flesh, He might teach virtue and
 4 43|  only, He might become holy flesh, that through Him the flesh,
 5 43| flesh, that through Him the flesh, which had become subject
 6 44|  the earth, when He assumed flesh; and He was no less God
 7 44| being God, He took upon Him flesh, that, becoming a mediator
 8 50| they cannot be done without flesh. Therefore He assumed a
 9 50|     that the desires of the flesh must be overcome, He might
10 50|   allege the frailty of the flesh as an excuse.~
11 54|     that the frailty of the flesh may yield to pains, and
12 66|    overcome the pain of our flesh, and the torments applied
