Chapter

 1 30|     Philosophy is the love or pursuit of wisdom. Therefore it
 2 30|  which is loved. If it is the pursuit of wisdom, not even thus
 3 30|      which is sought, but the pursuit is that which seeks it.
 4 30|       that it is not even the pursuit of wisdom, in which wisdom
 5 30|      to devote himself to the pursuit of that to which he can
 6 30|      who gives himself to the pursuit of medicine, or grammar,
 7 30| manifest that that is not the pursuit, because it is impossible
 8 30|    which is sought for in the pursuit, unless by chance they who
 9 30|      another world. Now every pursuit is connected with some end.
10 30|     therefore, is not a right pursuit which has no end.~
