Chapter

 1 3 |      They complain that man is born in a more feeble and frail
 2 3 |    which the other animals are born: for that these, as soon
 3 3 |        place where he has been born, nor to seek the nourishment
 4 3 |        on account of his being born in a more feeble condition.
 5 3 |         because they are twice born, and then because they are
 6 3 |      adorned. For though he is born frail and feeble, yet he
 7 3 |        and all those which are born with greater strength, though
 8 3 |   thanks to nature that he was born a man. How much better and
 9 3 |   preferred that they had been born beasts! For if God should
10 4 |     appears, that they are not born gods. By no means, they
11 4 |     they wish, that man is not born under those conditions by
12 4 | especially, that they were not born immortal and everlasting.
13 4 |       to think that souls were born together with bodies, and
14 4 |        all in this, that he is born naked and fragile, that
15 6 |        nothing could have been born without a plan. For it was
