25   VII, 17|    operation of this description Friendship maintains, and makes (one)
26   VII, 17|      that have been collected by Friendship from the majority of entities
27   VII, 17|         Empedocles, collected by Friendship as being a certain good (
28   VII, 17|   furious Discord. And (likewise Friendship is) eager, and toils to
29   VII, 17|    forcibly severing the work of Friendship. Empedocles asserts that
30   VII, 17|         into unity, according to Friendship. And, as I stated, (Empedocles
31   VII, 17|      other, (namely) Discord and Friendship. And (he asserts) that Discord
32   VII, 17|       abduction of the things of Friendship, and of appropriation of
33   VII, 17|          alleges,) however, that Friendship, inasmuch as it is always
34   VII, 17|        these, (viz., Discord and Friendship,) expressing himself somehow
35   VII, 18|           as the good Deity, the Friendship of Empedocles. You forbid
36   VII, 18|         that for you the work of Friendship may be perpetuated as one (
37   VII, 19|     world) which (is managed) by Friendship, is cognisable by intellect.
38   VII, 19| accordance with the influence of Friendship, are accommodated to unity.
