 1 3 |             and are ordered by His word as being through Him; and
 2 4 |         forth fittingly in the one word of an appellation, seeing
 3 10|         testimony of the prophetic word hast thou? Or what substantial
 4 10|          Lord. For John says: "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt
 5 10|            Him, because indeed the Word took on Him our flesh. And
 6 11| association of the divinity of the Word in that very materiality,
 7 13|     nativity of Christ, says: "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt
 8 13|             His name is called the Word of God," and not without
 9 13|           heart has emitted a good word; " which word He subsequently
10 13|       emitted a good word; " which word He subsequently calls by
11 13|           Him not." Moreover, this Word "was in the beginning with
12 13|          with God, and God was the Word." Who then can doubt, when
13 13|            clause it is said, "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt
14 13|         man; and because He is the Word of God, who can shrink from
15 13|            world was." And if this Word came down from heaven as
16 13|           God had descended as the Word, reasonably, while by the
17 13|    connection both flesh wears the Word of God, and the Son of God
18 13|       heaven; and if, whereas this word can be true of no man, "
19 13|         Christ alone declared this word out of the consciousness
20 14|           of David; but He was the Word made flesh and dwelt among
21 14|          of the conjunction of the Word and the flesh. For He is
22 14|           flesh. For He is not the Word made flesh, nor dwelt in
23 14|          where He was not. But the Word of God descended which was
24 14|   descended which was there, --the Word of God, I say, and God by
25 14|        thence from heaven, but the Word of God; that is, God descended
26 15|       certain manner He is of this word: wherefore Christ is not
27 15|   according to the divinity of the Word, so He is of this world
28 15|   proceeded not from God, thus the Word of God proceeded, of whom
29 15|          hath uttered forth a good Word ;" which, because it is
30 15|           nothing made.'' But this Word whereby all things were
31 15|            God," says he, "was the Word." Therefore God proceeded
32 15|    proceeded from God, in that the Word which proceeded is God,
33 15|           If any man shall keep my word, he shall not see death
34 15|          He, "whosoever keepeth my word, shall not see death for
35 15|           for ever;" therefore the word of Christ affords immortality,
36 15|         another immortal, yet this word of Christ not only sets
37 16|          the world. For He is "the Word by which all things were
38 17|            of God, that is, by the Word of God? For He says the
39 17|         was made. And if He is the Word of God--"for my heart has
40 17|           has uttered forth a good Word"--He shows that in the beginning
41 17|          that in the beginning the Word was, and that this Word
42 17|            Word was, and that this Word was with the Father, and
43 17|       Father, and besides that the Word was God, and that all things
44 17|            by Him. Moreover, this "Word was made flesh and dwelt
45 17|  foundation of the world to be the Word of God, and God, we reasonably,
46 17|           man, that is to say, the Word of God, "by whom all things
47 17|        nothing was made." And this Word was made flesh, and dwelt
48 17|            is, the Son of God, the Word of God. But the Word of
49 17|           the Word of God. But the Word of God was made flesh, and
50 18|          but the Son of God is the Word of God: and the Word of
51 18|           the Word of God: and the Word of God was made flesh, and
52 18|         and fire." And this is the Word of God. And the Word of
53 18|           the Word of God. And the Word of God was made flesh, and
54 18|             except that as God the Word He was begotten of God the
55 18|        bosom of the Father, as the Word, became flesh in order to
56 21|           except because He is the Word who is from the Father,
57 21|          mysteries; and who as the Word made flesh dwelt among us,
58 21|      according to His divinity the Word proceeded from the Father
59 21|          except because being that Word which is before every creature;
60 21|          out. For we know that the Word of God was invested with
61 21|             reasonably, it was the Word of God who put off the flesh,
62 21|          was, as we have said, the Word of God, who is revealed
63 21|           body the clothing of the Word; and He washed His bodily
64 21|           but He who washes is the Word of God, who, in order that
65 21|          from the authority of the Word who washed it He is manifested
66 22|           all--the Son of God, the Word of God, the imitator of
67 22|            authority of the divine Word, reposing for awhile in
68 23|            to be with man, and the Word to be made flesh, that in
69 23|            by the reception of the Word of God the Son of God. This
70 24|            strive to exclude, "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt
71 24|         that the Son of God is the Word of God, incarnate by that
72 24|           possess. And thus by the word of the angel the distinction
73 24|           Son of God; that is, the Word of God as it is written
74 25|        that which man is--for "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
75 25|            assuredly could not the Word of God and God in Christ
76 25|            has the nobility of the Word of God this power of not
77 25|       ought it to fail to slay the Word of God. For as the soul
78 25|      itself, which was made by the Word of God, is not killed by
79 25|            it be believed that the Word of God cannot be destroyed.
