Chapter

 1 1 |        the foaming water should come from its deep bosom, it
 2 1 |       what is required does not come without man's knowledge;
 3 2 |      immortal, that He does not come to an end by any ending
 4 2 |      quantity, nor, indeed, can come even into the thought itself.
 5 3 | similarly wishing still more to come into our knowledge, and,
 6 5 |         we have said, they have come, not of vice, but of reason.~
 7 6 |      Lord said, "The hour shall come when neither in this mountain
 8 8 |       through Him He desired to come into our knowledge, and
 9 9 |      his thighs, until He shall come to whom it has been promised;
10 10|         hast thou now chosen to come? Why such as thou art? Or
11 10|      how hast thou been able to come? Or wherefore hast thou
12 10|       when I see that thou hast come in a phantasm and not in
13 10|     else, thou oughtest to have come as something else, lest
14 10|     from Mary ;" neither did he come to us, since he appeared "
15 12|      judgment; He Himself shall come, and shall save you: then
16 12|       should be the signs which come to pass; let men acknowledge
17 12|         the prophet: "God shall come from the south, and the

20 12|   Scripture says that God shall come. If the Father, why do they
21 13|        the portion of no man to come from heaven, He descended
22 14|         into this world, did He come unto His own, since a man
23 14|        is plain that man cannot come from heaven, because he
24 14|       mortal, nor could he have come down from heaven, since
25 14|         we have said, could not come from heaven. Therefore as
26 15|     only man, He would not have come thence, and therefore would
27 15|      because He would riot have come thence. Moreover, by coming
28 15|        as man He could not have come, He shows Himself to have
29 15|        He shows Himself to have come as God. For the Jews, ignorant
30 15|     said, "Ye know not whence I come, and whither I go: ye judge
31 15|    point, that as man could not come from heaven, so as that
32 15|       seeing that man could not come thence. If Christ is only
33 15|       heaven, whence man cannot come, for he was not made in
34 17|   building, asking and saying, "Come;" and then, "Let us go down
35 17|       with angels, and saying, "Come;" and subsequently, "Let
36 18|         and learns that God had come down on account of the cry
37 24|           The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power
38 24|         only, "The Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power
39 24|         says, "The Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power
40 28|      For no one," says He, "can come to the Father, but by me."
41 28|     therefore he shall not only come to God the Father, and shall
42 28|         future, but which shall come to pass without any doubt.
43 28|      will love him; and we will come unto him, and will make
44 29|         He, the Advocate, shall come, whom I shall send unto
45 29|         that Advocate shall not come to you; but if I go away,
46 29|       the Spirit of truth shall come, He will direct you into
