  3   vis, vis1, 1 |             heavens, and he has the Lord merciful to him in every
  4   vis, vis1, 2 |          what words shall I ask the Lord to be merciful to me? While
  5   vis, vis1, 3 |      committed iniquity against the Lord, and against you, their
  6   vis, vis1, 3 |              On this account is the Lord angry with you, but He will
  7   vis, vis1, 3 |            But now the mercy of the Lord has taken pity on you and
  8   vis, vis2, 1 |            and began to pray to the Lord, and to glorify His name,
  9   vis, vis2, 2 |       fasted and prayed much to the Lord, the knowledge of the writing
 10   vis, vis2, 2 |         have blasphemed against the Lord, and in their great wickedness
 11   vis, vis2, 2 |           them these words which my Lord has commanded me to reveal
 12   vis, vis2, 2 |           from their minds. For the Lord has sworn by His glory,
 13   vis, vis2, 2 |             their own life. For the Lord hath sworn by His Son, that
 14   vis, vis2, 2 |         that those who denied their Lord have abandoned their life
 15   vis, vis2, 3 |            to thee, deny again. The Lord is near to them who return
 16   vis, vis3, 1 |            and having prayed to the Lord that He would show me the
 17   vis, vis3, 1 |            confessed my sins to the Lord. And touching me she said, "
 18   vis, vis3, 2 |           feet, I begged her by the Lord that she would show me the
 19   vis, vis3, 3 |             this, they may know the Lord in much glory." And she
 20   vis, vis3, 3 |          the invisible power of the Lord."~
 21   vis, vis3, 4 |            created, and to whom the Lord handed over His whole creation,
 22   vis, vis3, 4 |         also are holy angels of the Lord, but the former six are
 23   vis, vis3, 5 |          those who suffered for the Lord's sake." "But I wish to
 24   vis, vis3, 5 |            the straight ways of the Lord and practised His commandments." "
 25   vis, vis3, 6 |         account of the anger of the Lord, for they have roused Him
 26   vis, vis3, 6 |          and business they deny the Lord." I answered and said to
 27   vis, vis3, 6 |             cannot be useful to the Lord unless their riches be cut
 28   vis, vis3, 7 |         baptized in the name of the Lord; but when the chastity demanded
 29   vis, vis3, 8 |     according to the precept of the Lord. Listen now to their functions.
 30   vis, vis3, 9 |         account of the mercy of the Lord, who has dropped His righteousness
 31   vis, vis3, 9 |         groans should ascend to the Lord, and ye be shut out with
 32   vis, vis3, 9 |           instruct the elect of the Lord, if you yourselves have

 34   vis, vis3, 10|            you will obtain from the Lord what you beg." I fasted
 35   vis, vis3, 10|           hearts turned towards the Lord." But I answered and said
 36   vis, vis3, 11|            cast your cares upon the Lord. Your spirit therefore is
 37   vis, vis3, 12|         which God gave you. For the Lord had compassion on you, and
 38   vis, vis3, 12|            strong in faith; and the Lord, seeing your strength, rejoiced.
 39   vis, vis4, 1 |          walked alone, I prayed the Lord to complete the revelations
 40   vis, vis4, 1 |             been established by the Lord, and who have seen such
 41   vis, vis4, 1 |            weep, and to call on the Lord to rescue me from it. Then
 42   vis, vis4, 1 |         brethren, with faith in the Lord? and remembering the great
 43   vis, vis4, 2 |            through the power of the Lord and His great mercy I escaped
 44   vis, vis4, 2 |            opened your heart to the Lord, believing that you can
 45   vis, vis4, 2 |           name. On this account the Lord has sent His angel, who
 46   vis, vis4, 2 |           and tell the elect of the Lord His mighty deeds, and say
 47   vis, vis4, 2 |         your heart, and turn to the Lord, it will be possible for
 48   vis, vis4, 2 |            your life in serving the Lord blamelessly. Cast your cares
 49   vis, vis4, 2 |            Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He will direct them.
 50   vis, vis4, 2 |         will direct them. Trust the Lord, ye who doubt, for He is
 51   vis, vis5, 1 |           you will receive from the Lord all that He has promised
 52   vis, vis5, 1 |           shall ye receive from the Lord the opposite things. All
 53   com, com2, 1 |             as he received from the Lord, so has he accomplished
 54   com, com3, 1 |             before all men; and the Lord, who dwelleth in you, will
 55   com, com3, 1 |           be glorified, because the Lord is truthful in every word,
 56   com, com3, 1 |          therefore who lie deny the Lord, and rob Him, not giving
 57   com, com3, 1 |      pollute the commandment of the Lord, and become robbers." On
 58   com, com4, 1 |            a wife who trusts in the Lord, and if he detect her in
 59   com, com4, 2 |         again, and said, "Since the Lord has vouchsafed to dwell
 60   com, com4, 2 |        wickedly in the sight of the Lord, and remembers the actions
 61   com, com4, 3 |             lately believed, in the Lord. For those who have now
 62   com, com4, 3 |       called before these days, the Lord has set repentance. For
 63   com, com4, 3 |             set repentance. For the Lord, knowing the heart, and
 64   com, com4, 3 |          wickedly towards them. The Lord, therefore, being merciful,
 65   com, com4, 3 |          holy calling. in which the Lord has called His people to
 66   com, com4, 4 |           honour and glory with the Lord; but if they marry, they
 67   com, com5, 1 |            and cannot attend on the Lord as he wishes, for anger
 68   com, com5, 1 |         anger pollutes him. For the Lord dwells in long-suffering,
 69   com, com5, 1 |          and useful to God, and the Lord dwells in it. But anger
 70   com, com5, 2 |          them, for the power of the Lord is with them. It is the
 71   com, com5, 2 |        purity which is loved by the Lord. Take care, then, that you
 72   com, com6, 1 |            and whoever turns to the Lord with all his heart will
 73   com, com7, 1 |                Fear," said he, "the Lord, and keep His commandments.
 74   com, com7, 1 |      incomparable. For, fearing the Lord, you will do all things
 75   com, com7, 1 |             devil; for, fearing the Lord, you will have dominion
 76   com, com7, 1 |            wicked. For, fearing the Lord, you will not do these deeds,
 77   com, com7, 1 |             which is evil, fear the Lord, and you will not do it;
 78   com, com7, 1 |             which is good, fear the Lord, and you will do it. Wherefore
 79   com, com7, 1 |           Wherefore the fear of the Lord is strong, and great, and
 80   com, com7, 1 |           glorious. Fear, then, the Lord, and you will live to Him,
 81   com, com7, 1 |              all creation fears the Lord, but all creation does not
 82   com, com7, 1 |              They only who fear the Lord and keep His commandments
 83   com, com8, 1 |             faith, then fear of the Lord, love, concord, words of
 84   com, com9, 1 |          not hesitate to ask of the Lord, saying to yourself, 'How
 85   com, com9, 1 |     yourself, 'How can I ask of the Lord and receive from Him, seeing
 86   com, com9, 1 |          all your heart turn to the Lord and ask of Him without doubting,
 87   com, com9, 1 |           mentioned, and ask of the Lord and you will receive all,
 88   com, com9, 1 |        denied which you make to the Lord without doubting. But if
 89   com, com9, 1 |         everything, trusting in the Lord; and they obtain, because
 90   com, com9, 1 |         after you have asked of the Lord, you are slower in obtaining
 91   com, com10, 1|          their hearts turned to the Lord, quickly perceive and understand
 92   com, com10, 1|           they have the fear of the Lord in them. For where the Lord
 93   com, com10, 1|         Lord in them. For where the Lord dwells, there is much understanding.
 94   com, com10, 1| understanding. Cleave, then, to the Lord, and you will understand
 95   com, com10, 2|              neither entreating the Lord nor confessing to Him. For
 96   com, com11, 1|          strong in the faith of the Lord, and are clothed with truth,
 97   com, com11, 1|             to the multitude as the Lord wishes. Thus, then, will
 98   com, com11, 1|             Divinity belongs to the Lord. Hear, then," says he, "
 99   com, com12, 2|       yourself with the fear of the Lord, resist them. For the fear
100   com, com12, 2|           them. For the fear of the Lord dwells in good desire. But
101   com, com12, 3|           truth and the fear of the Lord, faith and meekness, and
102   com, com12, 4|            heaven? If, then, man is lord of the creatures of God,
103   com, com12, 4|           all, is he not able to be lord also of these commandments?
104   com, com12, 4|            he, "the man who has the Lord in his heart can also be
105   com, com12, 4|            in his heart can also be lord of all, and of every one
106   com, com12, 4|           But to those who have the Lord only on their lips, but
107   com, com12, 4|            and who are far from the Lord, the commandments are hard
108   com, com12, 4|           fickle in yoUr faith, the Lord in your heart, and ye will
109   com, com12, 4|         angel of repentance, who am lord over him. The devil has
110   com, com12, 5|             who does not ask of the Lord that strength may be given
111   com, com12, 6|             for if ye return to the Lord with all your heart, and
112   com, com12, 6|           all the ordinances of the Lord, because you are with me;
113   com, com12, 6|          have enjoined upon me, the Lord strengthening me." "You
114   com, com12, 6|           heart be pure towards the Lord; and all will keep them
115   sim, sim1, 1 |           power of another? for the lord of this city will say, '
116   sim, sim1, 1 |        gathered to thyself? For the lord of this country justly says
117   sim, sim1, 1 |              then, ye who serve the Lord, and have Him in your heart,
118   sim, sim1, 1 |          which ye received from the Lord, upon such lands and houses.
119   sim, sim2, 1 |             matters relating to the Lord, because he is distracted
120   sim, sim2, 1 |            and intercessions to the Lord, and those which he does
121   sim, sim2, 1 |          which he received from the Lord, and with which he recompenses
122   sim, sim2, 1 |          which he received from the Lord. And this is a great work,
123   sim, sim2, 1 |            poor of the gifts of the Lord, and rightly discharged
124   sim, sim2, 1 |            men interceding with the Lord on behalf of the rich, increase
125   sim, sim2, 1 |   understand that they are from the Lord. [For they who are of that
126   sim, sim4, 1 |         therefore, the mercy of the Lord shines forth, then shall
127   sim, sim4, 1 |            not at all serving their Lord. How, then," he continued, "
128   sim, sim4, 1 |            obtain anything from the Lord, if he serve Him not? They
129   sim, sim4, 1 |          action a man can serve the Lord; for his mind will not be
130   sim, sim4, 1 |           not be perverted from the Lord, but he will serve Him,
131   sim, sim5, 1 |            and giving thanks to the Lord for all His dealings with
132   sim, sim5, 1 |         says, "how to fast unto the Lord: this useless fasting which
133   sim, sim5, 1 |           acceptable fasting to the Lord. Listen," he continued: "
134   sim, sim5, 1 |            your life, and serve the Lord with a pure heart: keep
135   sim, sim5, 3 |             the commandments of the Lord, and you will be approved,
136   sim, sim5, 3 |             the commandments of the Lord be observed. Thus, then,
137   sim, sim5, 3 |             and pray for you to the Lord. If you observe fasting,
138   sim, sim5, 3 |       sacred, and acceptable to the Lord. These things, therefore,
139   sim, sim5, 3 |          whatsoever they ask of the Lord they shall receive."~
140   sim, sim5, 4 |         servant of God, and has his Lord in his heart, asks of Him
141   sim, sim5, 4 |       parable; and the words of the Lord become known to him which
142   sim, sim5, 4 |            to ask anything from the Lord; but the Lord is full of
143   sim, sim5, 4 |     anything from the Lord; but the Lord is full of compassion, and
144   sim, sim5, 4 |           why do not you ask of the Lord understanding, and receive
145   sim, sim5, 4 |           you, I would then ask the Lord to explain them."~
146   sim, sim5, 5 |        field is this world; and the Lord of the field is He who created,
147   sim, sim5, 5 |          are the holy angels of the Lord, who keep His people together;
148   sim, sim5, 6 |            he said, "that He is the Lord of the people, having received
149   sim, sim5, 6 |            His Father.] And why the Lord took His Son as councillor,
150   sim, sim6, 1 |           house, and glorifying the Lord for all that I had seen,
151   sim, sim6, 1 |             but put on faith in the Lord, and you will walk in them,
152   sim, sim6, 2 |          blasphemed the name of the Lord. Such men therefore, are
153   sim, sim6, 2 |            no blasphemy against the Lord. These have been perverted
154   sim, sim6, 3 |           deeds, but they blame the Lord. When, therefore, they have
155   sim, sim6, 3 |          strong in the faith of the Lord; and for the rest of the
156   sim, sim6, 3 |             they are subject to the Lord with pure hearts, and are
157   sim, sim6, 3 |    undertakings, obtaining from the Lord everything they ask; and
158   sim, sim6, 3 |           and then they glorify the Lord, that they were delivered
159   sim, sim7, 1 |     afflicted, as that angel of the Lord commanded who delivered
160   sim, sim7, 1 |             this give thanks to the Lord, because He has deemed you
161   sim, sim7, 1 |      continue humble, and serve the Lord in all purity of heart,
162   sim, sim8, 1 |           called by the name of the Lord. And a glorious angel of
163   sim, sim8, 1 |             a glorious angel of the Lord, who was very tall, was
164   sim, sim8, 1 |        branch. And the angel of the Lord took and looked at them.
165   sim, sim8, 1 |         that state the angel of the Lord ordered to stand apart.
166   sim, sim8, 2 |           II.~ And the angel of the Lord ordered crowns to be brought;
167   sim, sim8, 3 |             the commandments of the Lord. And the rest you will know
168   sim, sim8, 6 |              the great mercy of the Lord, that it is great and glorious,
169   sim, sim8, 6 |           seal, and may glorify the Lord because He had compassion

172   sim, sim8, 7 |             the commandments of the Lord; but in the commandments
173   sim, sim8, 7 |            then, is the life of the Lord, but amongst the quarrelsome
174   sim, sim8, 8 |        business they blasphemed the Lord, and denied Him. They therefore
175   sim, sim8, 8 |          those who have denied [the Lord] in various ways. Many,
176   sim, sim8, 11|          live unto God. Because the Lord, having had compassion on
177   sim, sim8, 11|             of their works; but the Lord, being long-suffering, desires
178   sim, sim8, 11|          own works, and fearing the Lord, will repent." He answered
179   sim, sim8, 11|            receive healing from the Lord for their former transgressions,
180   sim, sim9, 1 |    fountains, and every kind of the Lord's creatures drank of the
181   sim, sim9, 2 |          you were wise; but ask the Lord, that you may receive understanding
182   sim, sim9, 5 |        finished just yet, until the Lord of it come and examine the
183   sim, sim9, 7 |               The glorious man, the lord of the whole tower, having
184   sim, sim9, 9 |         built to the tower. And the lord of this tower wishes all
185   sim, sim9, 10|           been cleared away; if the lord of the tower come to inspect
186   sim, sim9, 10|          began to adjure him by the Lord that he would explain what
187   sim, sim9, 11|       replied, "on the words of the Lord the whole night." "Did they

193   sim, sim9, 19|             blasphemers against the Lord, and betrayers of the servants
194   sim, sim9, 19|             did not blaspheme their Lord, nor become betrayers of
195   sim, sim9, 21|     doubtful, and they who have the Lord upon their lips, but have
196   sim, sim9, 21|        ashamed of the name of their Lord. Such, then, are neither
197   sim, sim9, 23|           in living. If our God and Lord, who rules over all things,
198   sim, sim9, 23|          aside, and repent, and the Lord will heal your former sins,
199   sim, sim9, 24|             without hesitation. The Lord, therefore, seeing their
200   sim, sim9, 24|             be blotted out; for the Lord has made trial of you, and
201   sim, sim9, 25|          and purely the word of the Lord, and did not at all fall
202   sim, sim9, 26|         those who have denied their Lord, and have not returned to
203   sim, sim9, 26|             become useless to their Lord, from having contracted
204   sim, sim9, 26|             now intends to deny his Lord; but to those who denied
205   sim, sim9, 27|           shall be protected by the Lord for ever. They who do these
206   sim, sim9, 28|        suffered for the name of the Lord are honourable before God;
207   sim, sim9, 28|       suffer on account of God. The Lord bestows upon you life, and
208   sim, sim9, 28|        suffered for the name of the Lord, ye would have died to God
209   sim, sim9, 28|        acknowledge that ye have the Lord, lest, denying Him, ye be
210   sim, sim9, 28|           what, think ye, will your Lord do, who has authority over
211   sim, sim9, 30|            all found guileless, the Lord of the tower commanded those
212   sim, sim9, 30|         virtue, and truth. When the Lord, therefore, saw the mind
213   sim, sim9, 31|         kingdom of God, because the Lord has blessed this innocent
214   sim, sim9, 31|          will quickly return to his Lord. I deem you happy, I, who
215   sim, sim9, 31|         wicked schisms, that if the Lord of the flocks come, He may
216   sim, sim9, 32|        tower is still building. The Lord dwells in men that love
217   sim, sim9, 32|       entire, what do you think the Lord will do to you, who gave
218   sim, sim9, 32|      corrupted by you. Will not the Lord, therefore, because of this
219   sim, sim9, 33|          whole hearts. And when the Lord saw that their repentance
220   sim, sim10, 2|           these to me, and I to the Lord." And I said, "Sir, I make
221   sim, sim10, 2|           and great honour with the Lord. But those who do not keep
222   sim, sim10, 2|             his own honour with the LOrd. All, therefore, who shall
223   sim, sim10, 3|         have all influence with the Lord. Therefore, if they find
224   sim, sim10, 4|         have received good from the Lord; lest, while ye delay to
