 1 9 |       we have just been engaged reason shows it to be possible,
 2 11|         but perhaps there is no reason why, with a view to the
 3 12|    nothing that is endowed with reason and judgment has been created,
 4 12|    being itself so created. For reason cannot discover any use
 5 14|         judgment as the primary reason, but in consequence of the
 6 15|         of the senses or of the reason, that the whole series of
 7 15|       if both understanding and reason have been given to men for
 8 15| received both understanding and reason is man, not the soul by
 9 16|      call it life; and for this reason, I suppose, some call sleep
10 17|      themselves, much more does reason, tracing out the truth from
11 18|    deeds wrought by him; and if reason does not find this happening
