 1 1 |         a man who is steeped in ignorance. As our witness, let us
 2 1 |        those who are crushed in ignorance and folly: "For God is able
 3 1 |       commiserating their great ignorance and hardness of heart who
 4 2 |       wood. For the extremes of ignorance are atheism and superstition,
 5 2 |         the son of a harlot, in ignorance of his true father, may
 6 2 |        heaven, obscured through ignorance, but which now at length
 7 4 |        passed over them through ignorance, I shall add that the image
 8 9 |         life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because
 9 10| therefore repent, and pass from ignorance to knowledge, from foolishness
10 10|   fostered by vain opinion; and ignorance, which has proved to the
11 10|   uninstructed in the word, has ignorance as the excuse of his error;
12 10|       substance you squander on ignorance, even as you throw away
13 10|  involved in error! who live in ignorance as you, but do not counterfeit
14 11|    oblivion of the truth, viz., ignorance; and removing the darkness
15 12|    idols, intoxicated with mere ignorance. I would pity him in his
16 12|     utter impiety of folly, and ignorance, and thoughtlessness, and
17 12|         they do; and describing ignorance itself as a species of madness,
