Chapter

 1 1 |          Thebes with walls by the power of music. Another, a Thracian,
 2 1 | consecrated of old, and worthy of power, he has been called by me
 3 1 |           from "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that
 4 1 |    desert--who filled with divine power the barren woman and the
 5 4 |          created the earth by His power," as Jeremiah says, "has
 6 10|           when it is within their power to live nobly according
 7 10|         Erebus, when it is in his power to be a citizen of heaven,
 8 10|          the glory of God and His power." What glory, tell me, O
 9 10|  evidently the result of a divine power, it remains only to acknowledge
10 10|           God, nor understand His power, whose love to man is ineffable;
11 10|          ready access, the divine power, casting its radiance on
12 11|           O this holy and blessed power, by which God has fellowship
13 12|          the arm of the Lord, the power of the universe, the will
