 1    I, 2   |         our Instructor is like His Father God, whose son He is, sinless,
 2    I, 2   |     stainless, the minister of His Father's will, the Word who is
 3    I, 2   |          who is God, who is in the Father, who is at the Father's
 4    I, 2   |          the Father, who is at the Father's right hand, and with the
 5    I, 2   |            Wisdom, the Word of the Father, who made man, cares for
 6    I, 3   | only-begotten Son is sent from the Father's bosom, the Word of faith,
 7    I, 3   |    confessing and saying, "For the Father Himself loveth you, because
 8    I, 5   |         hastening as He was to the Father; rendering His hearers more
 9    I, 5   |           bounding joyously to the Father alone; not such horses "
10    I, 5   |          who is God alone as their Father, who are simple, and infants,
11    I, 5   |    exhorting them to adhere to the Father alone, in imitation of children.
12    I, 5   |            life, and depend on the Father alone. And he who fulfils
13    I, 5   |         and mothers. Thus also the Father of the universe cherishes
14    I, 5   |            Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace; that He
15    I, 5   |      perfect child! The Son in the Father, and the Father in the Son.
16    I, 5   |         Son in the Father, and the Father in the Son. And how shall
17    I, 5   |           of God, the child of the Father.~
18    I, 6   |           Word born of the perfect Father was begotten in perfection,
19    I, 6   |         For this is the will of my Father, that every one that seeth
20    I, 6   |     eternal light, children to the Father. Jesus therefore, rejoicing
21    I, 6   |             said: "I thank Thee, O Father, God of heaven and earth,
22    I, 6   |            the children, "Even so, Father; for so it seemed good in
23    I, 6   |          the time appointed by the father. So also we, when we were
24    I, 6   |         God, the nourisher and the Father of all that are generated
25    I, 6   |           when the kind and loving Father had rained down the Word,
26    I, 6   |       mystic marvel! The universal Father is one, and one the universal
27    I, 6   |          is all to the child, both father and mother and tutor and
28    I, 6   |       nutriment is the milk of the Father, by which alone we infants
29    I, 6   |       care-soothing breast" of the Father. And He alone, as is befitting,
30    I, 6   |       Christ the fulfilling of His Father's will was food; and to
31    I, 6   |            that seek the Word, the Father's breasts of love supply
32    I, 6   |          bread from heaven, but My Father giveth you the true bread
33    I, 7   |         called babes; and that the Father of all alone is perfect,
34    I, 7   |         the Son is in Him, and the Father is in the Son; it is time
35    I, 7   |       truth being the grace of the Father, is the eternal work of
36    I, 8   |           am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman." Then
37    I, 8   |          has been appointed by the Father, Instructor of us all; He
38    I, 8   |           all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee,
39    I, 8   |      itself shall testify, saying "Father, I will that they also whom
40    I, 8   |          of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known
41    I, 8   |            the left," conceived as Father, being good, is called that
42    I, 8   |            as He is the Son in the Father, being his Word, from their
43    I, 8   |    reproved. Now, that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus is good,
44    I, 8   |        says," Be merciful, as your Father is merciful." Still further
45    I, 8   |        says, "None is good, but My Father, who is in heaven." In addition
46    I, 8   |          these, again He says, "My Father makes His sun to shine on
47    I, 8   |        noted that He proclaims His Father to be good, and to be the
48    I, 8   |             And again he says," My Father sends rain on the just,
49    I, 8   |           says in His prayer, "Our Father, who art in heaven." And
50    I, 8   |           one is good," except His Father. It is this same Father
51    I, 8   |            Father. It is this same Father of His, then who being one
52    I, 8   |        utterance, "No man knew the Father," who was Himself everything
53    I, 8   |        Creator, and the Son in the Father, to whom be glory for ever
54    I, 9   |           to the house, who am thy father, and lord of thy virginity." "
55    I, 9   |          not wise. Is not this thy father who acquired thee?" He says
56    I, 9   |           made God a master, not a father. And as far as piety is
57    I, 9   |       there from above, whence the Father was. For before He became
58    I, 9   |           wished to be Creator and Father. And the nature of all that
59    I, 9   |           knoweth the Son, but the Father; nor the Father, but the
60    I, 9   |            but the Father; nor the Father, but the Son." This mutual
61    I, 10  |             in accordance with the Father's will, He wishes to make
62    I, 10  |         your whole heart, and say, Father, I will hear you, as a holy
63    I, 11  |          image and likeness of the Father, His Son Jesus, the Word
64    I, 11  |   entrusted us, as an affectionate father commits his children to
65    I, 12  |        good Instructor--fulfil the Father's will, listen to the Word,
66   II, 1   |           after the image of their father, the voracious beast. People
67   II, 1   |            as prodigals, abuse the Father's gifts; but we should use
68   II, 2   |           divine mixture, man, the Father's will has mystically compounded
69   II, 2   |           you in the kingdom of my Father." But that it was wine which
70   II, 4   |       giving thanks to God and His Father." This is our thankful revelry.
71   II, 8   |         said; and our glory is the Father of all; and the crown of
72   II, 8   |          being one, the Son of the Father, who is truly one, the beginning
73   II, 8   |      themselves with them. For the Father takes great care of man,
74   II, 11  |         necessaries He says, "Your Father knoweth that ye need these."
75   II, 11  |            flourished again in the Father's bosom. I admire that ancient
76  III, 1   |          the Mediator executes the Father's will; for the Mediator
77  III, 3   |          And their wool the loving Father has made abundant for thy
78  III, 7   |      whatever he requires from the Father of all; and to enjoy what
79  III, 10  |              it is said, "with her father's sheep." Nor was this enough;
80  III, 10  |            added, "for she fed her father's sheep." And innumerable
81  III, 11  |           the Lord cast out of His Father's court, not willing that
82  III, 12  |          false witness. Honour thy father and thy mother." And so
83  III, 12  |          good Counsel, of the good Father, the true Wisdom, the Sanctuary
84  III, 12  |             and there receives the Father, whom he learns to know
