 1 2 |        powerful help of Almighty God to bring back to a right
 2 2 | philosophy. For, not in vain did God set the light of reason
 3 4 |              And, assuredly, the God of all goodness, in all
 4 4 |          the service of the true God which had formerly been
 5 5 |        that it demonstrates that God is; for the greatness of
 6 5 |     thereby.(17) Again, it shows God to excel in the height of
 7 5 |         possibly shake; and that God, therefore, is not only
 8 5 |  authority united in the word of God. In like manner, reason
 9 7 |          the power and wisdom of God. And the assistance of the
10 8 |   handmaid and attendant, and by God's goodness attain to them
11 9 |     reposing on the authority of God, is the unfailing mistress
12 9 |        offer heartfelt thanks to God, and sincerely rejoice that,
13 10|          power and the wisdom of God,(27) and in whom are hid
14 10|           For, as the all-seeing God against the cruelty of tyrants
15 11|    wisdom also to prove that one God, who stands pre-eminent
16 17|        the laws of reasoning, on God and incorporeal substances,
17 27|         the supernatural help of God, nothing is better calculated
18 32|         Scripture, is called the God of all knowledge;(41) by
19 32|      want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men abundantly,
20 33|          begging the blessing of God, who modestly confessed
21 33|       and united prayer, beseech God to send forth the spirit
22 33|     divine goodness, offer up to God the most efficacious patronage
