 2 Intro|    deliberations and signed its decrees. ~(c) The Patriarch of Constantinople
 3 Intro|         send proctors. ~(e) The decrees were adopted by an unanimous
 4 Intro|       into English the acts and decrees; for while indeed properly
 5 2    |         the holy Canons and the decrees of the traditions of the
 6 2    |       do nothing but reject the decrees. I have treated of this
 7 3    |        follow the older synodal decrees, and accept and proclaim
 8 3    |        carefully examined their decrees under the guidance of the
 9 4    |         them to comply with the decrees of the synod. In A.D. 766
10 4    |      The clergy obeyed when the decrees were published; but resistance
11 4    |         787, which reversed the decrees of A.D. 754. The proceedings
12 6    |        holy Fathers, and to the decrees of sacred councils, they
13 6    |     they bear. And this, by the decrees of councils, and especially
14 6    |         think contrary to these decrees, let him be anathema. And
15 7    |  assembled for promulgating the decrees of the said Ecumenical Councils,
16 7    | doctrine, a series of reforming decrees was published, so this Synod
17 7    |       and not to their dogmatic decrees. ~CANON II. ~That he who
18 10   |        at least as its dogmatic decrees went, by the Pope, the whole
19 11   |         never read the acts nor decrees of the Seventh Ecumenical
20 11   |       took no pains to read the decrees, their opinion and their
21 11   |        writings--as well as the decrees which followed ~ ~from them--
22 12   | assembled at Nice, and what its decrees had been. For as this Synod
