1 4,1| Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins;
2 6,1| infants, by the sacrament of baptism rightly administered in
3 6,1| that in them the form of baptism, for the remission of sins,
4 6,1| Christ, which is conferred in baptism, the guilt of original sin
5 6,1| together with Christ by baptism into death; who walk not
6 7,1| must be performed before baptism: lastly, when they purpose
7 7,1| they purpose to receive baptism, to begin a new life, and
8 7,1| cause is the sacrament of baptism, which is the sacrament
9 7,1| apostles-previously to the sacrament of Baptism; when they beg for the faith
10 7,1| who fall into sins after baptism, Christ Jesus instituted
11 7,1| different from that at (his) baptism; and that therein are included
12 7,1| remitted, as is done in baptism, to those who, ungrateful
13 7,1| he, who has fallen after baptism, is not able by the grace
14 8,1| less, than seven, to wit, Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist,
15 8,1| in the three sacrments, Baptism, to wit, Confirmation, and
16 8,1| let him be anathema. ~ON BAPTISM~CANON I.-If any one saith,
17 8,1| any one saith, that the baptism of John had the same force
18 8,1| had the same force as the baptism of Christ; let him be anathema. ~
19 8,1| is not of necessity for baptism, and, on that account, wrests,
20 8,1| concerning the sacrament of baptism; let him be anathema. ~CANON
21 8,1| any one saith, that the baptism which is even given by heretics
22 8,1| Church doth, is not true baptism; let him be anathema. ~CANON
23 8,1| If any one saith, that baptism is free, that is, not necessary
24 8,1| that the baptized are, by baptism itself, made debtors but
25 8,1| that the resemblance of the baptism which they have received
26 8,1| that all vows made after baptism are void, in virtue of the
27 8,1| promise already made in that baptism; as if, by those vows, they

43 15,1| Sacrament of Penance and that of Baptism~For the rest, this sacrament
44 15,1| seen to be different from baptism in many respects: for besides
45 15,1| certain that the minister of baptism need not be a judge, seeing
46 15,1| therein through the gate of baptism. For, what have I, saith
47 15,1| has once, by the laver of baptism, made the members of His
48 15,1| Furthermore, one is the fruit of baptism, and another that of penance.
49 15,1| that of penance. For, by baptism putting on Christ, we are
50 15,1| Fathers a laborious kind of baptism. And this sacrament of Penance
51 15,1| those who have fallen after baptism, necessary unto salvation;
52 15,1| necessary unto salvation; as baptism itself is for those who
53 15,1| one who has fallen after baptism, it then at length prepares
54 15,1| all who have fallen after baptism; because that our Lord Jesus
55 15,1| ignorance have sinned before baptism, be received into grace
