5 6,2| this decree; until by a competent judge,--who shall proceed
6 7,2| provide that, by deputing competent vicars, and by assigning
7 8,1| be laudably exercised by competent vicars, and those even perpetual,
8 15,5| have been approved of as competent by him who has ordained
9 22,2| churches newly erected, a competent portion shall be assigned,
10 24,2| not been twice married, be competent to discharge the said duties,
11 24,2| personally, if they be competent, otherwise by competent
12 24,2| competent, otherwise by competent substitutes to be chosen
13 24,2| or canon law, or on other competent persons, and such as can
14 25,4| receiving the grave and competent testimony of good and learned
15 25,4| excepting so far as they are competent to do this by the institution,
16 25,4| canon law, or otherwise as competent a person as can be procured:
17 25,4| have power to appoint a competent steward and vicar. And the
18 25,4| freely conferred on other competent persons; nor shall they
19 25,4| be governed by worthy and competent parish priests. To the end
20 25,4| to appoint, if need be, a competent vicar to the same--with
21 25,4| superior, but otherwise competent, judges, who shall take
