 1 25,1|  through Christ, the ancient marriages; with reason have our holy
 2 25,2|      of the solemnization of marriages at certain times of the
 3 25,3|    doubted, that clandestine marriages, made with the free consent
 4 25,3|  parties, are valid and true marriages, so long as the Church has
 5 25,3| anathema, who deny that such marriages are true and valid; as also
 6 25,3|      who falsely affirm that marriages contracted by the children
 7 25,3|   that parents can make such marriages either valid or invalid;
 8 25,3| detested and prohibited such marriages. But whereas the holy Synod
 9 25,3|    from the said clandestine marriages, and especially the sins
10 25,3|   multitude of prohibitions, marriages are ofttimes unwittingly
11 25,3|   prohibited cases, in which marriages either the parties continue
12 25,3|     gratuitously. As regards marriages to be contracted, either
