CONCLUSION

In the course of these minutes, I have tried to offer you some thoughts in regard to a Reading of the Changes that have occurred (and are occurring) in the Consecrated Life in reference to the Mission "ad gentes" from the viewpoint of the Relationships that now exist between Institutes of the Consecrated Life or Societies of Apostolic Life and the Local Churches in mission territories. I have done this with a strict limit on the amount of time that was at my disposal and without the ability of having been able to attack the project as I did so many others in the halcyon days, as a teacher in the field under consideration with the freedom and leisure to peruse books and periodicals dealing with the subject. Please excuse the limitations and shortcomings. Moreover, what I have given you is only a Reading of some of the Changes, and not all. My thanks.
