Why did these same communist leaders compound their deceitful silence about the Soviet "paradise" with a seven‑decade‑long systematic and indefatigable detraction against all individuals, groups and currents earnestly dedicated to preserving their countries from the Soviet misfortune through public awareness of this danger?
