The Church protects and defends our spiritual history. But the Church has somehow been marginalized and excluded from secular history - at great cost only to Greek Orthodoxy but to the entire human family. This is what we wish to talk to you about today. Not just about Mnemosyne, but also about its counterpart, the River of Oblivion.

You could be forgiven, after speaking to the average person, for thinking that the history of Christianity starts with Jesus Christ, moves on with St. Paul at Corinth and Ephesus, continues with the Bishop of Rome and ends with the Protestant Reformation.

Mnemosyne has forgotten Romiosyne! The history and life-giving legacy of Orthodox Christianity has been lost in the waters of oblivion.
