 Great in doctrine, not less in humility and in the merits of life, whom Alexander of Hales, the Doctor Clarissimus, to whom he handed himself over to be trained, experienced him to be of such innocence and dovelike simplicity, as he was accustomed to say, that it seemed to himself, that in him Adam had never sinned.
