 1 2 |          Our pontificate, that He may bring it to maturity and
 2 2 |          that, as a result, faith may be aroused in your minds
 3 2 |         and especially that piety may increase and be inflamed
 4 4 |        the words of St. Augustine may appropriately be quoted: "
 5 5 |        another Paraclete, that He may abide with you for ever,
 6 6 |  revelation of the Divine Spirit" may be imagined or expected;
 7 10|          and devotion. Christians may do this most effectually
 8 10|       earnestly; for which reason may this Our exhortation, flowing
 9 10| concerning matters of such moment may be entirely dispelled, as
10 10|          by weakness or ignorance may perhaps have some excuse
11 11|           with faith and love, we may press onward earnestly towards
12 12|       intention, in whatever ways may appear suitable, to further
13 14|          Ghost upon the Apostles. May she continue to strengthen
14 14|            those divine prodigies may be happily revived by the
15 15|           Rome, on the 9th day of May, 1897, in the 20th year
